traffic generation is one of the main problems many webmasters have. Sending a good quality amount of targeted traffic consistently to your website can be challenging and expensive; very expensive if not done right.

3. Obtain a cheaper way to drive additional traffic to your website. According to Alexa, this is the number one tip you can use to raise your rankings. The more traffic you send to your site, the higher it will climb.

Do the above tips perform? Of course! They do work because I tested them myself. I used those 3 tips and one of my websites jumped from 2,121,203 to 871,898 in less than a month. I still need to raise this website?s ranking but I know the above will help raise it some more.

Another example - I Recently started creating a new website and a few days later its Alexa ranking showed as being a little over 10 million around a week later, its Alexa ranking was at 1,791,955. Is it the Alexa toolbar and the Alexa widget making the difference? I had not sent traffic and I had not advertised the site. You be the judge!

There are other ways to raise your Alexa ranking such as getting lots of back links to your website and search engines optimization. If you do not know how to optimize your pages, you must learn how to do it. It is not that hard. There is a lot of information all over the place that will get you started.

Getting back links to your website manually is very slow therefore, you should
find a system that will help you get a hold of lots of them to your site. So far I have been doing it manually and now I am presently testing a system that will help getting lots of back links.
